Dominic Cormier, P.Eng.
Dominic Cormier is an engineer specializing in steel connection design. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from Université de Moncton.
Having been in the steel industry since 2007, Dominic has gained a lot of valuable experience. His flagship project is the 3,500 tons L. F. Wade International Airport in Bermuda, for which he led the detailing and connection design teams. He is both an experienced connection designer and a seasoned steel detailer. Being able to do both serves him well in designing connections with the detailer in mind and, in turn, his knowledge as a connection designer makes him a very efficient steel detailer.
Dominic's expertise really shows on highly complex architectural projects. He has a pragmatic approach to structural steel projects and he is very conscientious which, combined, makes him a highly valuable member of any project team.
